I take a flexible and collaborative approach to treatment, tailoring my methods to each person’s unique needs, goals, and personality. My specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse recovery, relationship issues, and exploring masculinity.
What started as an interest in human behavior and Psychology, blossomed into empathy for the human experience and learning what an incredible privilege it is to hear and witness the vulnerability of others. While obtaining my MA in Marital and Family Therapy, I worked in Community Mental Health, primarily serving low-income families. I have gained a wide range of experiences with many diverse populations. Maintaining cultural competence, and open-mindedness to all is crucial to my identity as a therapist. A safe and supportive environment is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
You pour so much of yourself into your work and others that your own heart gets left behind. You struggle to connect and express your needs, and along the way, you’ve lost touch with what you truly long for: peace, love, and balance. But sis, you don’t have to keep drowning in busyness to avoid the relationships and emotional growth you crave. You can honor your faith, set healthy boundaries, and learn to love yourself fully so you can show up authentically for others. I help Christian women like you heal emotionally, communicate more deeply, and build relationships that feel safe, mutual, and true to who you are.
I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my masters degree in Social Work from CSU Bakersfield. I have been working with children and adolescents for the past five years. My work is person-centered, who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and even a little lighthearted at times. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help teens and adults understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions — and how to shift them in a healthier direction. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore, grow, and start feeling more like yourself again.
I’m Emmanuel Garcia, a Mexican American therapist, first-generation college graduate, and founder of Radiate Hope Therapy. I specialize in supporting adults and adolescents navigating trauma, substance use, identity struggles, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel weighed down by emotions or uncertain about their direction, especially during sobriety or recovery.
Growing up, I witnessed how mental health was often stigmatized and silenced, especially for men in Latino communities. I know how isolating that silence can feel. My own journey through therapy and recovery taught me that true strength isn’t in staying quiet, it’s in showing up for yourself and beginning to heal. That lived experience shapes the empathy, understanding, and care I bring to every session.
