Hi, I’m Stephanie Salgado, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving Women and Teen girls across Los Angeles County and throughout California through online therapy.
I specialize in supporting high-achieving women and teen girls who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, and the pressure to always hold everything together. Many of my clients appear successful on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or constantly worried about making mistakes or letting others down.
In our work together, my focus is on helping you slow down, gain clarity, and better understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck in anxiety or self-pressure. Therapy becomes a space where you can explore what’s really going on beneath the surface, develop healthier ways of responding to stress, and begin building a stronger sense of confidence and balance in your life.
I am a clinical psychologist that graduated from the California school of professional psychology (CSPP) in 2022. I completed my Post Doctorate residency at Kaiser Permanente, Santa Clara. My focus has been in child and adult severe mental illness and crisis work, with a primary focus on DBT and CBT oriented treatments.

I became a therapist to help people suffer less and grow more. I have 15 years of experience in private practice, a mental health jail and a high-needs public clinic. I have led therapy groups focusing on childhood trauma, men's groups, feeling safe in love, attachment, codependence and spirituality. I was awarded Employee of the Year for LA County's Department of Mental Health. I supervise developing therapists and provide trainings on best clinical practices through public speaking and professional development.
