Hi! I'm Kypris and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, with trainings and certifications in Sex Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals. I specialize in all types of relationships and healing trauma, especially LGBTQ, non-monogamy and sexuality concerns.
I will be your biggest cheerleader while still being gently honest about any blind spots that I see.
As a Marriage, Family and Child Therapist with over 20 years of experience, I am here to help you find greater well-being, self-acceptance and resolve the issues that are preventing you from living the full and positive life that you deserve. In my private practice and other settings, including schools, hospice, bereavement and agency centers, I have counseled adults, children, adolescents, families and groups to help them gain self-awareness, new insights and create positive change.
I believe that everyone deserves to live a life that makes them excited to wake up in the morning. Unfortunately, many people live imprisoned in negativity brought upon by childhood trauma, abusive relationships, or toxic work environments. I have worked with survivors of narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood trauma. I enjoy building genuine connection with my clients and seeing them surpass their expectations in creating a life worth living.
I am a licensed therapist with over twenty five years of experience. My background includes working with individuals, couples, and families across diverse backgrounds, spanning various ages and life stages. I am dedicated to helping make a difference in the well-being of my clients' lives. My clients have shared with me that they find me easy to talk to in session. Many have returned to work with me years later.
Are you feeling depressed or anxious about your current life situation? Do you wonder if you can build a meaningful life, a life worth living? Are you grieving the loss of someone you love, or the loss of something you hoped to achieve? Are you in the middle of a life transition such as graduation, retirement, becoming a parent, or changing professions? I help people in these situations get in touch with what they really want so they can move forward with confidence.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and have been working in the field for the past 15 years. A large majority of my initial training and experience has been working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, communication problems, and relationship issues. My counseling style is welcoming, warm, empowering, and interactive.
Hi, my name is Alo. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and author of "Am I Trans Enough?" I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+, polyamorous/non-monogamous, and kink communities. I've been a therapist for the past 10 years and often help people work through questions around their identity, relationships, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
If you've found your way here, you might be carrying a heavy, silent weight. The journey through infertility or the transition into postpartum can be a deeply isolating and overwhelming experience, often filled with unspoken grief, anxiety, and pressure. You are not alone in this. This is a space dedicated to creating a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and truly understood. There is no need to pretend that everything is okay or carry this burden alone. In sessions, experiences can be processed, coping strategies developed, and a reconnection with your authentic self can be achieved
I have 19 years experience working in the field of social work with many different populations. I have found that the clients that find the greatest success are those that have a desire to change and are willing to put in the work. I love seeing the amazing healing power that can come when clients overcome difficulties. Meeting with clients on their first intake assessment and then sitting with them as they work and grow on their journey towards happiness in this life is why I came into this field of Social Work.
My years of experience working with children and teens has allowed me to connect and empathize with them on a very deep level. I have 5 years working in child welfare completing interviews with children and parents, providing crisis intervention for families and teaming with community resources to develop plans to address issues that brought them to this point and how they can utilize their resources to make improvements and find joy as a family.
