

I was born and raised in Montana and have a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Montana State University in 2001. I then pursued my Masters of Social Work degree and graduated in 2008 from the University of Montana. This graduate program had a focus on providing a social justice and integrated practitioner perspective. I have an eclectic style that can be tailored to each unique individual. My primary therapeutic methods include Mindfulness Based, Holistic, Exposure, Narrative, Cognitive and Behavioral, Strengths Based & Solution Focused Therapies. I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment that often helps people feel comfortable. A true passion of mine is structuring therapeutic activities for clients to express, process, increase self-awareness, and de-stress from life’s challenging and developmental experiences.

I wanted to become a psychotherapist since I was 9 years old, after reading an article written by a psychologist about fear. I got my BA in Psychology from Iona College and my master's from Yeshiva University. I began to provide psychotherapy after the aftermath of 9/11. I have provided psychotherapy at a hospital, schools, in-home, and at an outpatient clinic.
I have extensive experience in counseling, working with adults, children, and families using various modalities. I aim to provide high-quality care to all individuals regardless of social status.
I have a doctoral degree in Health Science (DHSc), a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I am an adjunct faculty member, a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York (LMHC), and a licensed professional counselor in the states of New Jersey (LPC) and Georgia (LPC).
I am trained in various models, and my specialties are anxiety, depression, relationship issues/ family relationships, stress management, confidence and self-esteem/inner issues, trauma informed care, crisis intervention, parenting journey group and more.
I am trilingual in English, Haitian-Creole, and French.

I have over 17 years experience working in the mental health field. I have extensive experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, transitions in life and grief. I meet clients where they are at to help them explore and process their patterns of thinking and the impact those patterns have on their daily functioning and goals.
