Trained in a State Hospital in a borough in New York City
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) providing telehealth services to clients in California. With over 25 years of experience, I firmly believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives. My role as a therapist involves understanding and respecting my client’s experiences and collaboratively developing tools to support their ongoing journey.
I work with individuals seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, women's issues, trauma/PTSD, and chronic illness/pain challenges. I'm experienced in treating relationship and family challenges. I maintain a body-positive, sex-positive, and LGBTQ+ friendly approach, welcoming different lifestyles without judgment.
Hi, I’m Zahra — a licensed therapist and wellness guide who blends traditional psychotherapy with somatic and trauma-informed practices. I help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, heal from past wounds, and develop the emotional tools they need to thrive. My approach is warm, direct, and integrative — rooted in both evidence-based methods and mind-body modalities.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with identity, or burdened by unresolved trauma. Together, we create a space where you can safely explore what’s holding you back and develop healthier patterns in work, relationships, and self-worth.
In our sessions, we may use a combination of talk therapy, nervous system regulation, inner child work, and mindfulness-based practices depending on your needs. I also specialize in helping high-performing individuals (including creatives, professionals, and caregivers) move from burnout to balance.
Whether you're navigating life transitions, complex family dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, my goal is to support your healing journey with compassion, clarity, and curiosity.
Hi. My name is Jolene Jensen. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Santa Cruz, CA. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health profession, with a diverse range of clientele.
My passion for mental health began volunteering at a local all issue college crisis line. I now mostly work with adults facing life transitions, relational issues, GLBT and chronic illness. I like to integrate somatic energy tools, such as breathing, EFT and EMDR in my work with clients.
My passion is maternal mental health. I support women through pregnancy and postpartum with comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, compassionate listening, and individualized medication management when needed.
Whether you’re a new mom adjusting to motherhood or a mama quietly struggling with postpartum depression, you deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. I take the time to truly understand how you’re feeling — emotionally, physically, and mentally — so we can navigate this journey together.
One of my favorite sayings: “I will see you on your worst day and I will see you on your best day in your motherhood journey.”
I hold a deep passion for supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and specialize in working with transgender & gender-nonconforming teens and adults. As a trans-identified provider, I bring a firsthand understanding of the challenges and nuances of identity exploration, allowing me to offer empathetic and affirming support to a diverse array of individuals. I am skilled at supporting clients in navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, concerns related to neurodivergence, life transitions, and interpersonal relationship concerns.
You might be struggling with conditions like addiction, depression, anxiety, or grief. I know how important it is for you to have open, genuine conversations where you feel truly heard and understood. After completing my MSW degree at the University of Kansas, I began practicing and have been licensed for 23 years. I have advanced training in Mindful Self Compassion therapy and more recently completed a year long program in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and am certified in Ketamine Assisted Therapy and Psilocybin facilitation so can provide education about working with psychedelics and microdosing.
I understand grief and addiction from personal experience. My journey led me to help others facing similar struggles. For 17 years, I guided incarcerated men in finding self-compassion, healing trauma, and breaking free from destructive cycles before devoting myself exclusively to private practice for the past 5 years. I offer in person appointments in Beaverton on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I look forward to working with you for solutions.
I am a Licensed marriage and family therapist. I am also a PsyD. student completing a doctorate in applied clinical psychology. I served in the United States Army and deployed during a time of war. I have made it a personal mission to comprehend and assist others to overcome their personal battles.
Hi, I’m Dana — a clinical social worker and certified life coach who believes that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work at San Diego State University, where I focused on Psychiatric Social Work. Over the years, I’ve served as a Clinical Program Director in both board-and-care and case management programs, supporting individuals as they move through trauma, narcissistic abuse, grief and loss, and major life transitions toward greater independence and peace.
Clients often describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental. My approach is flexible and collaborative . I believe therapy works best when we make decisions together. I draw from a range of evidence-based methods, including DBT, EMDR, the Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, and ADHD/Neurodivergent Coaching, to create a plan that fits each person’s unique needs.
At the heart of my work is a strength-based and solution-focused philosophy: I help clients uncover their resilience, develop practical coping skills, and move toward a life of clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I have a strong foundation as a therapist. Since 2009, I have provided psychotherapy to adults, children, youth, and families focused on helping them to live happy and fulfilled lives. I specialize in trauma related care, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
I have 19 years experience working in the field of social work with many different populations. I have found that the clients that find the greatest success are those that have a desire to change and are willing to put in the work. I love seeing the amazing healing power that can come when clients overcome difficulties. Meeting with clients on their first intake assessment and then sitting with them as they work and grow on their journey towards happiness in this life is why I came into this field of Social Work.
My years of experience working with children and teens has allowed me to connect and empathize with them on a very deep level. I have 5 years working in child welfare completing interviews with children and parents, providing crisis intervention for families and teaming with community resources to develop plans to address issues that brought them to this point and how they can utilize their resources to make improvements and find joy as a family.
